The Guided Teacher partners with schools and districts to strengthen reading instruction by building teacher confidence, clarity, and instructional consistency.
We believe that strong literacy outcomes begin with well-supported educators—especially those early in their careers. While many teachers enter the classroom motivated and committed, they are often expected to teach reading without the structured guidance needed to apply evidence-based practices with confidence. Our work exists to close that gap.
Founded by educator and instructional mentor Andrea Skeeter, The Guided Teacher provides research-aligned professional learning that moves beyond information and focuses on implementation. We help teachers understand not only what to teach, but why it works and how to apply it effectively in real classrooms.
